Jacob Lavian

Jacob Lavian is a Southern California native with more than a decade of experience in real estate. Over the course of his career, he has worked across both residential and commercial real estate, representing and advising homeowners, property owners, investors, buyers and tenants through a wide range of transactions.

Jacob began his career working extensively in commercial real estate, where he gained experience in sales, leasing, investment properties, property analysis, negotiation and due diligence. Working with different types of properties and clients gave him an understanding of real estate that extends beyond simply marketing a property or writing an offer.

That experience taught him how to evaluate a property from multiple angles, understand what drives value, identify potential issues and recognize the details that can influence the outcome of a transaction. It also gave him years of experience negotiating with property owners, investors, buyers, tenants, brokers and other parties with very different objectives.

Over time, Jacob developed a straightforward approach to real estate. He believes good representation starts with understanding the situation before recommending a strategy. Rather than overwhelming clients with unnecessary information or pushing them toward a decision, he focuses on identifying what actually matters and explaining it clearly.

His commercial background continues to influence the way he approaches residential real estate today. He looks closely at value, market conditions, property condition, negotiation and the details behind a transaction, while recognizing that buying or selling a home is also a deeply personal decision.

Jacob has always viewed negotiation as one of the most important parts of real estate. His approach is not based on being aggressive for the sake of being aggressive. He believes effective negotiation comes from preparation, understanding the other side, recognizing leverage and knowing which terms are worth fighting for.

Just as important to Jacob is communication. Clients should know what is happening, understand why it matters and feel comfortable asking questions along the way. He prefers direct conversations and honest opinions over sales language, and he is comfortable telling a client when he believes the best decision may be to wait rather than move forward.

Having grown up in Southern California and spent his career working in real estate here, Jacob has watched the market and the communities around him change significantly over the years. That experience has reinforced his belief that no two properties, transactions or clients should be approached exactly the same way.

At the center of Jacob's business is a simple philosophy: know the details, communicate clearly, negotiate intelligently and always give the client an honest assessment of the situation. After more than a decade in the business, his goal is not simply to complete a transaction, but to be someone clients trust when an important real estate decision comes up.
